## Why
I spent years building embedded systems and working RV/OEM supply chains before I ever touched Odoo. That's not a detour — it's why I don't need a discovery call to understand what a BOM revision means to your shop floor. I hot-swapped a live Odoo Enterprise instance into the latest Community version because I don't believe SMB manufacturers should pay Enterprise tax for tools they're already capable of running themselves. Montveritas exists to prove that.

## Why Community
Community-native. Not Enterprise-curious.
Most Odoo shops sell Enterprise because that's where the margin is. Montveritas doesn't carry that incentive — Community is the product, not the downsell. Domain background in manufacturing and distribution (RV/OEM supply chain, embedded systems), so the conversation starts past "what's a BOM."
## Embedded & IoT Test Engineering
Remote-capable, hardware-tested
Ship me the device. That is the model. For IoT hardware - touchscreens, switches, GPS units, IoT hubs - I can run bench validation, firmware/software regression testing, API testing from my own remote setup. No on-site requirement, no lab rental. 8+ years across THOR Industries, FireFly Integrations and Genesis Products with experience spanning firmware QA, touchscreen UI validation and CAN BUS multiplex systems. I ran field validation for a 1,000-user GPS pilot program — device configs, API monitoring, live data flow, and user support. Available for contract, short-term project work - or small retainer-based models - for firmware release validation, test plan builds and regression test cycles.

Odoo - Ongoing technical partner for your Odoo instance — module development, upgrades, integrations, troubleshooting. Monthly retainer, scoped to your operation's size. No project-based scope-creep billing, no offshore handoff.
Test Engineering - Project or Contract-based, retainer possible. Ship the hardware, I run the validation.
## Background
Montveritas is a two-person technical practice. I handle the systems. My wife Charlène - who holds a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain and has run operations for manufacturing clients - handles the operations side. That's why this practice understands a shop floor, not just the code. We're based in Vermont on Lake Champlain, with family ties to France.
